I had an amazing opportunity to travel to sunny, beautiful Miami!

To of course discover Miami’s health scene and try out their healthy food cafes. Surprisingly enough they do not seem to have a large amount of health cafes compared to Los Angeles!

However, I was luckily enough to find a few healthy spots, considering I had a short stay there.

I was recommended by a friend who is also a fan of healthy eating to check out a particular cafe. Mi Vida Cafe. Especially to try their delicious ice cream. This cafe is vegan and does not use any GMO nor high fructose corn syrup in their kitchen. Miami becomes very hot especially in the summer, so considering having a healthy treat wasn’t so much of a bad idea!

By the time we entered the cafe I was already craving for portions of the delicious ice cream!

Just by reading the ingredients from the dessert of the day menu, made me imagine how healthy the delicious ice cream would taste like. It was guilt free, made from whole foods and unrefined ingredients. What more could I ask for?

This beautifully enticing delicious ice cream was an art masterpiece!

The presentation visually seduced me while I was drooling over it! This delicious ice cream sure looked delicious!

It consisted of lemon and avocado raw ice cream. Drizzled with raw cacao on both servings. Topped with a mixture of freshly sliced strawberries and juicy blueberries. Scattered generously with nut clusters. Which made the whole experience even more crunchy and nutty! The ice cream had a thick and rich consistency. Just like conventional ice cream!
The strong bursts of lemony and avocado flavours combined together made my mouth water!
This delicious ice cream was healthily and consciously made with coconut butter, coconut oil and cashew nuts. All three of these ingredients gave it that ice creamy texture. So creamy and smooth. This dessert was also topped with carob sauce and pretty, edible flowers, to add sweetness and admiration. This was absolutely delicious and filing!

Overall i thought this cafe in particular was delicious and a wacky and fun place to discover their ethical and tasty dishes.
